Fruit Binairo
About the Game
Fruit Binairo is a free browser-based binary logic puzzle game inspired by the classic Binairo (also known as Takuzu or Binary Puzzle). Your goal is to fill a grid entirely with oranges and apples following three elegant rules: no three of the same fruit can appear consecutively in any row or column, every row and column must contain an equal number of each fruit, and no two rows or columns can be identical. What makes Fruit Binairo special is its polished, colorful design with hand-crafted fruit sprites and retro sound effects that make every completed row satisfying. Puzzles range from quick 6×6 beginner grids to challenging 10×10 expert configurations, so there is always a puzzle that matches your skill level. The game runs entirely in your browser with no download or account required. It is fully optimized for both desktop and mobile touch screens, making it a perfect brain-training game to enjoy during a break. How to Play Fruit Binairo
- Choose a grid size. 6×6 is a gentle introduction; 8×8 and 10×10 are for experienced solvers.
- Each cell must contain either an orange or an apple. Some cells are pre-filled; the rest are yours to solve.
- Rule one: no more than two of the same fruit may sit next to each other in any row or column. Three in a row is never allowed.
- Rule two: every row and every column must contain the same number of oranges as apples.
- Rule three: no two rows may be identical, and no two columns may be identical.
- Tap or click a cell to cycle it between empty, orange and apple. The puzzle is complete when every cell is filled and all three rules hold.

Tips & Strategy
- Look for pairs first. Wherever two identical fruits sit side by side, the cells on either end must be the other fruit.
- Look for gaps: a pattern like orange–empty–orange must have an apple in the middle, or you would create a run of three.
- Count. On a 6×6 grid, once a row already has three apples, every remaining empty cell in that row must be an orange.
- Check for near-complete lines. If a row has only two empty cells and filling them one way would duplicate another row, fill them the other way.
- Work rows and columns alternately. A placement forced by a row often unlocks a placement in the column that crosses it.
- Never guess. Every Fruit Binairo puzzle has a single solution reachable purely by the three rules.
Frequently Asked Questions
- What is Binairo?
- Binairo — also called Takuzu, Binary Puzzle or Binoxxo — is a logic puzzle where a grid must be filled with two symbols so that no three identical symbols are adjacent, every row and column is balanced, and no two rows or columns match. Fruit Binairo uses oranges and apples instead of 0s and 1s.
- Is Fruit Binairo free?
- Yes. It is free to play in your browser with no download and no account.
- Which grid sizes are available?

- Do I ever need to guess?
- No. Every puzzle is generated with a unique solution that can be reached by logic alone.
