How to Play Wood Block Sudoku

1. You are given three wooden block shapes at a time. Drag each one onto any empty spot on the 9×9 board where it fits.
2. Fill a complete row, a complete column or a complete 3×3 zone to clear it and score points. Clearing several at once earns a combo bonus.
3. Once all three shapes are placed, three new shapes appear. There is no timer — take as long as you like.
4. Tap the rotate button (or a shape's rotate handle) to turn a piece before placing it.
5. Drag a shape into the stash pocket to save it for later and get a different shape in its place.
6. Earn Zen Coins by clearing lines, and spend them to remove a single tile from the board when you are stuck. The game ends when none of your shapes can be placed.

• Keep the centre open. Placing pieces along the edges and in corners first leaves the most flexible space for awkward shapes later.

• Don't place a piece the moment it appears. Look at all three shapes and plan an order that sets up a multi-line clear.
• Use the stash for the large 3×3 square and the long five-block bar. Those pieces end games when there is nowhere to put them.
• Save Zen Coins for emergencies. Removing one tile at the right moment can open a row and turn a lost game around.
• Avoid creating single isolated holes. A lone empty cell can only ever be filled by a single-block piece.
